We are often asked by third-party meeting planners and travel agents, "If we go through The Cramer Collection to get proposals from your member hotels, what happens to our commission?"

The simple answer is, "Your commission is not affected in any way".

The Cramer Collection is not a third-party, a meeting planner, or a site search firm.

We are a National Sales Office representing Luxury Hotels, Resorts and Conference Centers worldwide as well as Destination Management Companies in over 30 countries. Our job is to make yours easier by providing a single source for information, availability and rates for a wide variety of properties and event services. Our services are complimentary to meeting planners.

Each of our members compensate us according to individual property agreements, but essentially we receive a combination of marketing and success fees that in no way affect your rate or your commission. All of our contracts with our members state that the following clause must be included with the contract for every group booking that results from our sales efforts..."The Cramer Collection is retained by our hotel as an authorized sales representation company. Compensation for the Cramer Collection services on your behalf in no way affects your group rate at our hotel. You are receiving competitive room rates available at this time."

A similar system is employed by all of the major chain National Sales Organizations. If you utilize an NSO for group bookings, that NSO then assesses each hotel a success fee that is internally transferred back to the National Sales budget to keep it funded. This internal accounting does not affect the rates you are quoted and it works exactly the same way with our member properties. Our sister company, Very Cool Venues provides the same National sales model for non-hotel venues that The Cramer Collection provides for hotels and resorts. Our job is the same; to provide a single source of information for a wide variety of venues for your golf tournament, special event, party, banquet or meeting.
